FIREPLACE MANTELS & SURROUNDS

The fireplace and hearth are the focus of any house and room. The word "focus", it turns out, is Latin for fireplace. Period buildings are designed from the fireplace out, and that is often where our clients ask us to begin. Mantels, panelling, built in cabinetry all key off the fireplace and hearth. Let us restore or recreate the tradition of the "fire place" in your home. Traditional Builders, Inc. uses antique moulding and hand planes to bring an authentic, hand-crafted finish to our work, both newly milled or carefully restored. Clients have come to trust us with the architectural details that express a building's character.
